Where else can you walk alongside a giant Shrek balloon? See the enormous balloons being inflated for tomorrow’s parade from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 77th St. to 81st St. between Central Park West and Columbus Ave, free!


Today through January 2nd, the Museum of the City of New York (1220 Fifth Avenue) will offer all visitors “two-for-the-price-of-one” admission and a 10% discount on all holiday purchases in the Museum Shop.

For those who don’t mind getting up early and standing for hours in the cold weather, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade starts at 9 a.m. (it will also be broadcast live on NBC). For all the parade info you could ever want go to Macy’s parade site here.


Watch (free!) or run in ($25-$30) the Prospect Park Turkey Trot 5M at 9 a.m. today!


At Bubby’s in Tribeca you can enjoy a Thanksgiving buffet from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. where you can set your own price from the meal and make a charitable donation for those less fortunate.
