Civil War and Draft Riots Walking Tour

On this tour sponsored by the New York Historical Society, Historian Barnet Schecter will take an in-depth look at NYC's 1863 race riots. Sites include Five Points, South Street Seaport, two Irish Catholic churches, the African Burial Ground, Tweed Courthouse, and the former NY Times building across from City Hall.
