Something must be in the air (besides NY'ers frozen breaths-when will this cold snap end? I feel like I'm living in one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House on the Prairie books...) because the cheap and free events are coming out of the woodwork this week...
For Wednesday Jan 13th, if you can slip out from work for a few minutes, Seventh (Fashion) Avenue will be re-named Project Runway Avenue in honor of the new season premiere at 11:30 a.m., complete with Nina Garcia, and the adorable Tim Gunn. The New York Jewish Film Festival is starting today as well, and there look to be some really great films on-tap for just $11.
For Thursday the 14th, if you can use your lunch break to catch him, Dave Eggers will also be appearing at the Strand from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. to sign books.
